Police reports of spiking increased 5-fold between 2018 and 2022, but right now just 1% of spiking reports leads to a criminal charge.

Reporter Daisy Maskell is about to consent to have her own drink spiked, in a ground-breaking experiment demonstrating the impact of spiking, and shining a light on this shockingly prevalent crime. 

This film meets victims with lived experience of the shattering impact of drug spiking, none of whom have seen their attacker brought to justice. Featuring interviews with police, forward-thinking venues fighting to keep punters safe, and leading barrister Dr Charlotte Proudman, this film also asks whether our current laws are strong enough to stop this crime, and what more can be done both to deter perpetrators and secure justice for victims.
